The new cd of Sander Germanus, named after his ensemble piece Lunapark and with nine of his microtonal chamber works, is now available!
ZaterdagMatinee February 11, 2012, 14.15:
premiere of the composition Fetus' Voyage in the big hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic is conducted by Reinbert de Leeuw. Before the concert starts there will be a radio interview around 13.40 hours in the Spiegelzaal of the concertgebouw. Read more about the concert here.

Sander Germanus (born in Amsterdam, 1972) studied classical saxophone at the conservatory of Amsterdam with Ed Bogaard and composition at the conservatory of Rotterdam and Antwerp with Peter-Jan Wagemans and Luc Van Hove. From 1999 to 2005 he undertook a study in microtonality at the Orpheus Institute in Ghent. Since 2007 he is the director of the Huygens-Fokker Foundation (centre for microtonal music in Amsterdam, The Netherlands) and teaches at the Lemmens Institute of Leuven in Belgium.
